BIRTHDAY PARTIES
A party at the Animal Ark is an extra special way to celebrate a birthday. We provide the food and lots of fun for all. You can come as early as you like and stay all day, although food will only be served between 12pm and 1pm or 3pm and 4pm. We can also host early evening parties up to 7pm by special arrangement.
There’s a lot to do and see at the Animal Ark with adventure play for all ages, and an opportunity to get ‘hands on’ with our rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, ferrets and other small animals!
The cost is £9.50 per child (minimum group of 8 children) includes:
- Entrance to the centre
- Party food - includes sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, snacks, small cakes and ice cream - to be eaten in either our indoor cafe or on the tearoom terrace. Hot meals and veggie options also available.
- Fresh jugs of squash with the meal
- Cup of tea or coffee for adults during the meal
- A souvenir photo for the birthday child with their favourite animal.
- Adult menu options
- Party goody bags can be provided at an additional cost of £2 per head.
Accompanying adults will be charged at the group rate of £5.75 per person. Food can be purchased from the cafe.
All you need to do is download and complete the booking form (requires Adobe Acrobat reader) with the party details, and send to us by post, or hand it in to the centre reception. You will receive confirmation of your booking within 7 days of returning the form.
A deposit of 20% of the total party cost is required 14 days after confirmation or within 48 hours if the party date if less than 14 days ahead. The remainder is paid on the day. If the deposit is not received by the due date then the party will be cancelled.
Any changes to the original booking must be agreed at least 72 hours before the party date and these will be catered for and charged for on the day. Party bookings can be taken up to a maximum of 2 months in advance. Please note that bookings will only be accepted for 8 or more children.
